Yes, I do have a small Christmas tree in my studio, but with everything else in there I don’t have any more room for decorations!

When my nephew Robbie died suddenly, I wanted to be of some comfort, but I didn’t know what to do. People brought flowers, food, cards, etc. I wanted to give them something to hold dear about their son they so loved. I knew I could make a scrapbook, and that was a gift from me to them. I asked for all of the photos of him, through out the years. Ribbons he won on field day, pictures of him with his siblings, and with his beloved skateboard. That scrapbook was a labor of love, and was my gift to them, and I know that they will always treasure that scrapbook.

Lisa, what a beautiful rememberance piece.
My sister-in-law lost her mother a year ago and she’s having a very difficult time dealing with her mom’s death. I’m thinking this Christmas of doing something like this for her. My best friend also lost her mom last month…..will also fix her up one as well. I do very few scrapbook pages these days……but usually end up doing what you’ve done above.
